Photography: Canon SX30IS ups?
I'm fairly new to photography and have a couple of questions. I'm using a Canon SX30IS to take first planes of rare coins. I experimented with the camera's macro mode and manual focus but I keep getting grain, washing photos w / o great detail. The camera is on a tripod approximately 6-8 cm from the subject and am using a tent for the diffusion of light and two white lights outside. I suspect the problem has to do with camera settings, but I know very little about how to set up a camera for those conditions. Can anyone suggest how to configure the UPS SX30IS strong, close detail? Thank you.
Use the Av mode dial on the top ISO: the lowest number available, do not use automatic opening ("A" in "AV") from about 5.6 to 8 use a sturdy tripod and use a timer to take photos, at least 2.5 seconds to produce the images clear as possible

Sweet Sixteen Dance Bash questions?
I have my sweet sixteen in a few months and I have a rave themed party, obviously without drugs and stuff. I have a strobe light, black light, disco ball, I can get more neon lights and other things. The problem is not knowing if I can do in a room, I have to assume im doing in my backyard big ass. So if I can rent a tent and do it in the backyard, do not know how it will work. You can not have a black tent, or even rent them, so it will be very light for a black light and stuff and i do not have much room for decoration, and I have a DJ. Any ideas on how this could work? Could you make a playlist on my mac, and still try to use a store campaign, no matter what? : S
